According to several sources, shots were fired at the Moonlite Bunny Ranch Brothel in Mound House, Nevada, early on Tuesday morning.
Lyon County Sheriff Brad Pope stated that his agency was summoned to the legal brothel due to a reported argument between two employees.
When deputies from the sheriff's office came on the scene and started to leave the building, they heard gunshots.
The alleged shooter then went into hiding in a brothel room, according to Sheriff Pope.
To help with the besieged employee, several tactical teams were sent in, including a crisis negotiation team.
In an effort to persuade the suspect to leave the facility with her hands up, deputies spoke to her via a loudspeaker.
According to Carson Now news, the female employee turned herself in to police without incident at around 12:30 a.m.
